OPZ Geel is a public psychiatric care and knowledge centre with a secondary care mission. It provides respectful, high-quality and professional care for people with psychiatric challenges and their direct environment, supporting them on the path to recovery.<\/p>

In 2012, major renovation and new construction works began at the Public Psychiatric Care Centre. No fewer than seven construction sites were active simultaneously. Several buildings were completely renovated, while other characteristic structures on the campus received a full makeover and a new purpose.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For this renovation project, they needed a virtualization platform spread across the various pavilions. Office-IT selected an HPE StoreVirtual solution, ensuring that each site has an active copy of the storage. The virtual platform is built with VMware software running on the latest HPE ProLiant servers. The platform is geographically separated and connected via fibre links. These connections ensure communication between the systems and replication of the storage.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
