Microsoft New Commerce Experience
In 2022, the conditions of the Microsoft 365 subscriptions you obtain through us will change. As a valued customer, we would like to inform you in advance.
Microsoft has introduced this project under the name NCE (New Commerce Experience).

In the NCE programme, you can choose between an annual subscription, with optional monthly billing, or a monthly subscription:
Annual subscription
With an annual subscription, you can still choose monthly billing, but it will no longer be possible to change the number or type of licences during the subscription term. This will only be possible on the annual renewal date. Adding licences of the same type remains possible throughout the year, but reducing licences will only be possible at the annual renewal. You can also only switch partners on the annual renewal date.
In return, no price increases can be applied during the subscription term.
Monthly subscription
If you want to maintain full flexibility, you can opt for a monthly subscription. This can be adjusted every month, but comes with a price increase of approximately 20% compared to annual subscriptions.
A combination of annual and monthly subscriptions is possible.
We may lose some flexibility or pay a higher price, but as your IT partner, we will always look for the most suitable solution for your organisation.
Price increase
In addition to the NCE programme, Microsoft is also announcing a general price increase for Microsoft 365 products as of 1 March 2022. This is the first price increase since Microsoft 365 was introduced around ten years ago. The following licences will become more expensive:
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium
- Office 365 E1
- Office 365 E3
- Office 365 E5
- Microsoft 365 E3
As soon as we receive the official euro prices, we will share them. Microsoft’s prices are always public and identical for all distributors.
This price increase can be avoided for one more year by subscribing to a new annual NCE plan before 1 March 2022. This allows you to keep the old price until your next annual renewal date.
As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we support this action. Considering that prices have remained stable for many years, the adjustment is understandable, but still significant. Let us take this opportunity to work even more efficiently with your Microsoft 365 environment and to make full use of its features. We are happy to advise you.
Other licence models will also be changed or phased out, and we will provide the necessary guidance here as well.
