Sustainable and ethical entrepreneurship: How Office-IT contributes to a greener future

Our vehicle fleet is currently transitioning towards greener alternatives. Today, a significant part of it already consists of plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles, and with each replacement, we opt for fully electric models. We have also expanded our charging infrastructure at our headquarters in Olen and even financed home chargers for employees who drive electric cars.

As part of our commitment to smart and efficient mobility, we encourage flexible work. Our team members can choose between working in Olen or from home — reducing commuting time and CO₂ emissions.

We also strive to minimize travel distances. Our advanced monitoring software continuously oversees our clients’ IT infrastructures and alerts us to any potential issues. This allows our engineers to take immediate remote action, keeping systems fully up to date without unnecessary travel — again contributing to fewer kilometers on the road.

In addition, we focus on reducing single-use plastics. Both of our offices now feature water dispensers, and every team member has received a reusable Dopper bottle. This simple initiative encourages sustainable refilling and helps us reduce plastic waste across the company.

When partnering with suppliers, we pay close attention to their environmental and ethical standards. We assess their performance based on ESG scores and relevant certifications. For example, since March 2024, we have been collaborating with a Tier 4 datacenter for our hosting and colocation services, certified with a Silver EcoVadis label. This aligns perfectly with our goal of ESG-friendly infrastructure configurations and illustrates our ongoing commitment to sustainability in every business relationship.
