What is phishing?
Phishing is a form of online scam and fraud. The word is derived from the English word Fishing.

When you click the link in the phishing email, you are redirected to a seemingly official website that asks for your login details. Once you enter them, the fraudsters gain access to this data. Opening an attachment in such emails can also cause problems. You might unknowingly install malware, such as a virus or spyware, on your computer. These programs then intercept sensitive personal information, such as bank details. Be extra cautious with emails that ask you to log in to websites!
